As artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into society, local governments are encountering new questions related to infrastructure development, energy demand, service delivery, and governance. Understanding these issues will be essential as communities seek to balance innovation with community interests and public accountability. 

This session brings perspectives from local government and civic leadership to discuss two key dimensions of AI for local governments: the local implications of AI infrastructure development and the responsible use of AI tools in government operations.
