UCL Welcomes Alex Cool-Fergus to Steering Committee
Urban Climate Leadership (UCL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Cool-Fergus to its Steering Committee.
Alex brings a strong track record of advancing climate action through policy development, advocacy, and collaboration with local governments across Canada. Her experience working with both the Climate Action Network and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities has focused on helping communities navigate complex climate challenges while ensuring that the transition to a low-carbon future is equitable and inclusive.
As UCL expands its work supporting local governments and cross-sector leaders in advancing practical climate solutions, Alex's expertise will help strengthen the organization's strategic direction and deepen its understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing municipalities across Canada.
